Universal House is a 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house providing accommodation for tertiary students.
The house is located at 8 Universal Crt Wodonga, only 1500m from Wodonga TAFE and LaTrobe University .
Amenities within a 5 minute walk include a Tafe/Uni to city bus stops, milk bar, sandwich shop, pizza shop, tavern and medical centre. |

Student rooms
Each spacious study/bedroom is furnished with a bed (bedding needs to be supplied), bedside table, desk, chair, corkboard, waste paper bin and wardrobe.
Students are welcome to bring their own TV or computer. The rooms are heated and air-conditioned.

Bathrooms
2 of the 5 bedrooms have their own en-suite. The 3 remaining rooms share a communal bathroom, and separate toilet.
Lounge, Dining and Kitchen
The communal lounge contains sofas, bookshelves and a TV. The dining area is furnished with a 6 person dining setting.
The self-catering kitchen is fitted with hot plates, wall oven, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, with ample shelf and cupboard space for each student.
Students need to supply their own crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils.
Laundry
The communal laundry has a wash trough, washing machine, upright freezer and cupboard. |

Outdoors
The covered outdoor area has a table and chairs, and the large lockable communal storage shed can accommodate bikes and other equipment.
Parking
Off street parking is available to all students.
Safety and Security
The house is fitted with smoke detectors, fire extinguisher and fire blanket. Each student will have their own keys for the front door, their own room, and the storage shed.
Visitor must leave by 10pm. No overnight visitors permitted.
Cleaning
Weekly cleaning of the communal bathroom, toilet, laundry, kitchen, meals area, hallway and lounge are provided. Students are responsible for cleaning their own rooms and en-suites.

Lawns and Gardens
Lawn and garden maintenance is provided by Student Accommodation Wodonga.
Utilities
Gas, water and electricity is provided. Students are requested to use utilities responsibly as excessive overuse may be billed back to the students. Telephone and internet is available for connection at the student's expense.

Students Responsibilities
All students are expected to keep their rooms and all common areas clean and tidy, to respect their surroundings and the rights and property of other occupants.
Any damage to the property is to be reported to the property manager immediately. Students are responsible for any damage within their rooms.
Any damage in the common areas is the responsibility of the perpetrator. If no individual accepts responsibility payment for the repair of damage will be divided equally between each student.
Room Rates
All lease agreements are for a 51 week period commencing on February 15th 2008.
A bond of one months rent is payable on the acceptance of the accommodation offer.
Rent is due fortnightly in advance.
Rooms 1&5 (en-suite rooms) $145/week
Rooms 2&3 $135/week
Room 4 $125/week
A 5% discount is available for 6 monthly payments in advance.
A 10% discount is available for a 12 month payment in advance.
